Buckwheat Cereal (Delicious, Easy & Raw Vegan)

My Sprouted Buckwheat Cereal is pretty epic! It's not only refined-sugar free, organic and delish, it's full of life! And you know what I always say..."Life begets life!"

Yes, you can make a super healthy cereal and make a no-guilt snack Sis! Here's my easy to make recipe!

Base Ingredients: 

  • 3 Cups Raw, Organic Buckwheat Grouts
  • 1 Cup Dried White Mulberries or Raisins
  • ½ Cup Raw Chopped Nuts of your choice)
  • 1 Cup Raw Sunflower and or Pumpkin Seeds (sprouted by soaking for 30 minutes or so) 
  • 2 Organic Apples (grated)
  • 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Flax Seeds

Date Sauce: 

  • ½ Cup Soaked Organic Raisins (soaked in 1/4 cup water)
  • 10 Organic Medjool Dates (soaked in 1/4 cup water) 
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract 
  • 3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt 

Directions:

Blend all sauce ingredients in food processor or Vitamix until smooth. Add to bowl and gently stir with a spoon until all ingredients are evenly coated. Evenly spread onto 2 Teflex sheets to about 3/4 inch thick. (The date sauce will hold everything together.) Dehydrate for 8 hours at 110 degrees, flipping over and continue dyhrdrating until both sides and completely dry. 

Break into pieces and store in an air-tight container.
