Using Sacred Self-Care To Heal

self-care self-healing self-love wellness

Most of my wellness community know that I was hospitalized last Summer for lung issues due to exposure to mold. Ironically, I was in a fight for my life many years ago as a result of black mold in an apartment. This time we had an infestation in our basement, which since has been completely eradicated. Well at least it has, in the basement; unfortunately it has triggered an auto-immune issue once again in my body. It's left me with a skin condition and other symptoms I'll be sharing in a bi-weekly series I've entited "My Healing Journey 2.0"  in our Sacred Self Care Sisterhood Facebook Group and Sharing The Bliss Facebook Business Page.

Again just as before, I'm preparing for this healing journey using what I call "Sacred Self-Care" as my vehicle.

Sacred Self-Care is not just carrying out a carefully planned sequence of steps taken in order to support wellness and beauty. It’s performing these wellness practices and treatments ceremoniously with reverence to the Holy Spirit. In short, Sacred Self Care infuses your practices and wellness treatments with faith-based spirituality.

Sacred Self Care connects you to the Kingdom and represents who you are as a Kingdom Heiress to the world! Hadassah, the orphan girl, born in poverty, invested twelve months performing Sacred Self Care Practices before being presented before King Ahasuerus. That preparation made her acceptable to meet the King. And it continued to raise her frequency to where it needed to be in order to become Esther, Queen of Persia and deliverer of her people!  Esther 2:20

The word 'practice' can sound at bit scary to some Believers. However when I speak of creating a practice around Sacred Self Care, I’m referring to consistency, having a regular course of procedure that is unwavering.

We should always give reverence to Jehovah Rapha our healer by honoring our body-temple, our spiritual and physical health, wellbeing and beauty, and perhaps even ceremoniously.

Sacred Self-Care has to become a habit. Practices improve and reinforce transformational habits. There are physical, emotional and spiritual rewards in the consistent practice of Sacred Self Care. Special events should be exclamation marks in our lives, but ordinary days filled with practices that can transform our  should be celebrated too! When handled love and grace, they can become energetically charged and even anointed. Here are even more reasons you may want to turn your in to Sacred Self Care practices…

  • They make the things that should be done special.
  • They support you in staying consistent.
  • They force you to create a carefully planned sequence of steps to follow.
  • They help you to accomplish tasks in a way that raises your frequency.
